Business Onshore Visa 211

Onshore visa 211 is ideal for those who are already in Indonesia and plan to stay in the country for a long period of time without engaging in employment.

This visa is issued to foreign citizens of any country. You can only obtain the onshore visa while you are in Indonesia. The government introduced this visa due to travel difficulties for foreigners to neighboring countries during the pandemic.

Duration of the visa

The onshore visa 211 is issued for 60 days with the possibility of a 2-time extension for 60 days. In total, the maximum stay in the country on this visa is 180 days (approximately 6 months).

After the expiration of the onshore visa, it can be reissued again without leaving the country after two extensions.

Attention! The onshore visa 211 is a single-entry visa. If you leave Indonesia, it will be canceled.

This visa cannot be issued after a visa on arrival (VOA). It is only available to holders of offshore or onshore visa 211.

The cost of the visa:

Onshore Visa 211 Extension

With Legal Indonesia, you can enjoy your stay in Indonesia without worrying about immigration formalities. You simply need to submit your passport to our office 10 working days before the expiration of your visa.

For the first extension, you need to come to the immigration office to undergo the biometric procedure – submit fingerprints, a signature sample and take a photo. This will take about half an hour. The next extension will be done without your participation.

You can leave your passport in our office and we will extend your visa ourselves. Alternatively, you can bring your passport for extension to our office or send it by courier.

We will pick up and deliver your passport to a convenient time and place for you in the Kuta, Canggu, and Bukit areas for free. In Ubud – upon request.


The cost of renewal (including all fees and payments):

2 600 000 IDR (~$175) – if you contacted us at least 10 working days before the expiration of your visa.

3 100 000 IDR (~$210) – if your passport is valid for less than 6 months.

3 100 000 IDR (~$210) – for citizens of the following countries: China, Afghanistan, Israel, Cameroon, Nigeria, Somalia, Bangladesh, Kenya, Syria, Pakistan, Libya.

The procedure for renewing a visa:

Make sure to submit your passport before the expiration of your visa (in person or via courier)

Step 1. We submit an application to renew your visa to the immigration service;

Step 2. You come to the immigration service for a biometric procedure. We will notify you in advance of when and at what time to arrive (one day before the scheduled date); the immigration office should only be visited for the first renewal.

Step 3. Your passport is ready – we will send you a notification. You can pick it up at the office yourself or order a courier delivery. If you plan to renew this visa again in the future, you can leave your passport with us.
